Hi HN, I like daily habit type puzzle games but was always missing one around chess so I built it.
It is called Daily Chess Blitz and the gameplay is simple: get as many check mates in one move as possible before the timer runs out.
Right move adds 10sec. Wrong move removes 10sec.
New board puzzles daily.
No ads, no signup, just a minute a day to keep the brain sharp. It runs on vanilla JS with a Google Sheet backend and I built it vibe coding it
I generally like the daily habit puzzle games and I play a ton of daily chess, but this one doesn't give me much time to think and reflect on my moves (either pre or post moving on to the next puzzle)
Would be nice to add something like that... i think review mode is a huge reason why chess.com puzzles / chess.com is so popular because you leave a little smarter than you came
You are right and I love the idea! I have added a review game section where after the game the player can view each board and move made to think and reflect on each daily puzzle.
